Love it when Peter is on. Such a brilliant guy. Appreciate the interesting discussions and Peter's use of stories to help translate his messages. The idea of depression being a lack of desire really stuck with me. Continuously failing to get what I want actually makes me happier than not wanting anything at all. Very powerful

I noticed that several of your discussions hint in the direction that one can‘t have one without the other, simply because one thing is defined as the absence of the other. You can‘t be happy without being unhappy - if it wasn‘t for the unhappiness you would not know what „happy“ is. This became very clear to me when I once read that the world needs wars if only to appreciate the peace. Worldwide peace can never exist or last since it needs the un-peace to exist. Staggering, if you think about it.
