Clinging to identity is the root of societal clutter.
To identify the clutter, first determine the essentials.
An impulse turns into an impulse purchase only if you act on the impulse.
You encourage whatever you tolerate.
Subtraction is the cure to the disease of excess.
Freedom is a consequence of doing what you enjoy and then allowing others to be offended by your liberation.
Happiness is not a currency.

T.K adds a huge dynamic to the religious discussion. I feel like Ryan and JFM have oodles of experience too with Ryan's past and JFMs past discussions on his mom's beliefs too. Always so gracefully done. I'd love to hear an exclusive patreon on this if not too intense. Personally minimalism had played a huge part in my spiritual/social and personal beliefs. I am currently at a crossroad and have felt paralyzed by the what ifs even though I am miserable where I’m at currently. I finally mustered up the confidence to take the first big step last night… I am sorry if this is cryptic, but I really needed to hear this today.
