As many folks have no-doubt heard, I’ve had some pretty serious allegations made against me. I’ve not been as timely with rewards as I wish I have been, and am severely behind when it comes to the folks on my commission tiers.
I’ve taken the initiative to address this by closing the current commission tiers so I can catch up with the folks that I owe, while still providing benefits for you folks as I can. I don’t wish to leave folks disappointed or unsatisfied. That has never been my intent.
I know some aren’t interested in the reasons I have for the delays. The fact of the matter is, I should have closed these tiers much sooner, or kept better contact with the people amongst them. I do owe commissions and I do owe refunds, and I plan to give them over the upcoming months, as time allows.
However, I’d would like the chance to explain myself. I’m not looking for pity, nor making excuses. Just to inform the folks who have remained and support me.
The last few years have been… rough. I’ve been trying to move out of my house for years, having needed to work in secret on this art and receiving no support from family over wanting to further pursue an online career. I believed, at the time, that I could open the multiple commission tiers and keep up with the workload, trying to force myself to earn more and to get out on my own as quick as I can.
I was wrong.
Between this and Covid hitting, these last few years have only exacerbated the issues. I was falling significantly behind already, before my mother suffered a severe stroke.
Some of you’ve noticed that I’ve been quieter these last few months, I’ve spent a majority of my time trying to address growing concerns, and the stress has been… bad. Again, I’m not trying to excuse myself, nor deny responsibility. It is mine. However, I wish to be more open about things in the future, and that starts with this.
I’ll be caring for my mother for the foreseeable future. Half of her body is paralyzed. This likely means that, even with a tighter focus and having cut off the accruing list, I still won’t be snipping off artwork every other day.
I ask for your patience, and thank you for your sympathies and support. It will be rough moving onward, but with the restructuring and having things better planned, I think that things will turn out for the best

Oh naw dude, I don’t really care about none of that. If it disrupts your flow as an artist forget about me man. If doing that will make your art feel undesirable to do, don’t do it. No hard feelings on my part

It's not a moral failing on your part to realize you've gone in over your head. We live in unprecedented times, and even if they weren't you can't predict the future. It shows more of your character in how you're trying to still make up those commissions and such at whatever rate you are capable of, than you getting overwhelmed by them to begin with. I really enjoy your art, but at the end of the day it's still just art, and not worth you getting flogged into an early grave over. Take care of yourself.
