After so many years of experience, I've gained a lot of insight into human nature through photography. I can now read a personality super quickly. Please don't misunderstand me, I don't want to brag. And I don't want to claim that I possess any special qualities either. Too often I've been surprised by what kind of personality was actually hiding behind a person. What I'm getting at is: When someone is at peace with themselves and radiates that poker face, that "I don't care" attitude, then that's actually the ideal thing I'm always looking for as a photographer. As a viewer, you feel challenged, practically vying for attention. And that makes you come alive yourself.
