I tried a couple of slightly different things for the fur here, first is a bit softer I guess, second is somewhat shiny, third one is a bit more simple. Which one do you prefer or think that works best? And last 2 are a couple of alts. Does it bother you if the BG is a bit unfinished like this? Or is it gud enough?
But I think it's mostly there, so I'll just mainly be adding moar alts. Unless you think there's something I'm not seeing that could be improved!

Yeah something about it right? I might just do sets of alts with the 1st and 2nd style and avoid having to choose. But thank you! I do like trying to detail as much as I can but sometimes I can get carried away and never actually finish the thing haha, so maybe sometimes I'll settle for something a bit more unfinished.

They're all about the same effort wise I would say and they were all fun to work on so that's kind of the issue, I just couldn't decide! But that's also good to hear the background as is is not distracting.

I like the look of the second the most, followed by first. Not sure how to describe it, but I think the way you did the shine on them makes it even hotter, it just looks really good. I always like the way you do backgrounds, something a bit more unfinished doesn't really bother me, but I do prefer the look of the more finished ones.

I think I like the first style more but it’s super close between them, they’re all great. I’d say pick the one that is easiest for you and that you enjoy! I think the backgrounds look great as they are, it doesn’t distract from the focus ✨
