Anamnesis v0.3.5 progress report

Sorry about the radio silence between progress reports. I took a week off from working on the game, so it took a bit longer before I had something interesting to report.
First some changes to the previous update:
I made it obvious the mini game can be skipped by adding more lines of dialogue and a glowing circle next to Leah. Frustration is optional now
Next, the final h-scene has been finished and some of the dialogue reworked. Velinary was way too forceful in that scene.. and that almost ruined the character. It made him look like just another mustache twirling villain, so now it's hopefully better
Before the rewrite: Asshole Velinary (Lawful evil)
After the rewrite: Enabler Velinary (True neutral)
As for the new content.. this update will be a bit unusual. It's a conclusion of the first story arc (the introduction to the village and the mansion) so there will be a lot of important dialogue and some pretty exciting story developments, but almost no gameplay. I will even things out in the 0.4 version that will have a decent amount of puzzles/battles
The merchant is back from town.. did he bring any interesting news?
There is a lot of exposition and inner monologues from Cedric, so my current task is to make it all work by adding small jokes here and there so it's still fun to read. Anyway, as always things are taking much longer than expected so I probably won't be able to release the update this month. But it should be out by the end of first week in October

The game will be linear for few more updates, this is still pretty much the intro. After that, I would like to implement a time of day system (morning, afternoon etc. you have seen it before) , so things will open up a lot. Free roam scenes will appear much later in the game, mostly in the village

Will the game be entirely linear? Are there going to be any free roam events that happen in the background with side characters? Great game so far.

Don't worry cheff, you cook and rest when you need it. From what I'm reading, we're not going to have a lot of new sex scenes in this update, as it focuses much more on reworking past stuff and advancing the main storyline. Personally it doesn't bother me because I really enjoy the dialogues and story of this game, again take the time you need to cook everything :), I'd rather wait a little longer for a more complete update, than one that feels incomplete and doesn't meet the expectations the dev had for the update.
