Great ep so far!!! vikings get a raw deal on their cleanliness it's too cold where they live, they can just go wash off in the stream, if you bathtub is next to snow, that is going to create dirty people.

Thank you for your hard work on new episode! As Ukrainian, it was jarring listening to the section about Rus though. Having Rus people be referred to as Russians is very misleading as Russia would not be around for 500 years since described time period. I understand that in English there is not much choice of naming, but at least a note of disambiguation would be nice. Also history of Rus has much less to do with Russian history compared to history of Belarus and Ukraine, whatever Russian historians would tell you nonwithstanding. /rant Anyway, great work as always ❤️

I remember the days I discovered Hardcore Histoiry and just binged and binged on it. Since Supernova in the Pacific, I learned to trust and support the process : I am super excited when one new episode comes out, listen to it then put it in the back of my mind. When the next one comes out, I relisten to the tprevisou one then the new. Rinse and repeat. Makes every episode a treat!

I will never complain about a new episode, but honestly I can't believe the last episode came out all the way back in January. I honestly didn't remember that the first episode was part of a series, I'll need to go back and listen to it again. Dan and crew, I hope you're doing alright! I'm definitely not complaining, I'm actually just about to finish up another listen through of the Mongol series and then I'll start this back up.
