Getting burnt out

This has been weighing heavy on my mind for awhile now , and now I think I'm ready to discuss this , I am seriously getting burnt out on the weekend bust Sketches. This weekend I just got over being ill and after the stream it feels like my mind is once again just exhausted and All I wanted to do was crawl into bed and sleep ,I HATE this feeling . I was thinking of just taking two weekends out of the month and do request streams instead these streams will be done in full color and Open to everyone and I will go for as long as I can that was other weekends i can use to work on other late stuff or Relax! so thats pretty much it . what do you guys think?

Honestly speaking, how would he be scaring away prospective patrons by making it patreon exclusive? If people are getting things for free, what incentive do they have to pay for it?

Well, it was certainly a wild ride at 700+ busts, but yeah sounds like the era needs to end. Do whatever you need to man, as no one likes seeing a burn out. It's really amazing how above and beyond you go to accommodate your fans. Thank you so much for everything you do.

not a problem Godai I plan to stay a patreon just to get exclusive arts. sure the raffle rewards are nice but your sanity comes first. the last thing I want is for you to lose interest in drawing. I bet your burnt out, its insane how you participate in the katbox cares every Sunday, busts on Saturday, and your regular work during the week. Thank you sooo much for doing them as long as you did. I love your art man.

Sounds good but it should probably stay a patreon reward level to try and limit how many you'll need to do. I actually like the idea of doing it less often down to every other weekend.

I think every other weekend is a fine idea or maybe once a month if full colors turns out to be a lot of work for every other weekend. I also agree with Shukumei and Electricfox777 in that freebie hunters can be kind of rampant in these things unfortunately, but I wouldn't want to have you run the risk of scaring away any potential new patrons by having your streams patreon exclusive. Maybe have some slots closed for patrons only and then some open to everyone. Either way do what you need to do to keep your sanity and enthusiasm for drawing :)

I can definitely understand that and like everyone else, definitely don't want you to get burned out. I don't think that's a bad idea, but I do tend to agree with Electricfox777. Personally would prefer less weekends but still getting something (heck would be even fine with one pic a month) rather than have it be a chance and open (like Electric said) to all people who show up regardless of if they support.

No one wants you to be burnt out Godai. We appreciate what you do and ulitmately it's your health and your decision. I myself would be more comfortable with moving to say bi-monthly sketches or the like for patron supporters. Maybe moving back to full body sketches instead of busts if that was alright. It doesn't sit well with me to trade something that's constant, for something I'd only have a small chance at getting. (Smaller still because of all the freebie hunters that show up for and fill request streams and don't pay a dime for them to be funded at all.) Just had to be the odd man out here.

Waaahg! DX I don't think any of us want you to be burnt out! >.< This plan sounds great to me! This gives you more you time, which is good! My only question is, which day will the streams be on? I know I can never make a saturday stream, but a sunday stream would be great for me! Also, hehehe, does the $100 tier include the other tiers as well? 8D

Sure. I'm fine with that. I did have a couple more suggestions, though. I'm sure one of them would be better in color. As long as it's in either at the $3 or if you want, the $5 tier.
