The feedback is always appreciated! Totally understandable if it’s not your thing. As I haven’t yet planned out the rest of the story quite yet, there’s always the possibility that the ultimate fate of Gabe’s family could unfold in unexpected ways, maybe more optimistic than expected. Or even that the old man’s corrupted form isn’t quite so permanent. I could even have a “good end” and “bad end” kind of scenario

I hate to admit, this reveal in the story seems just kinda... gloomy compared to the rest. At least Gabe and his mom seem to remain relatively themselves through the corruption and the genderbending, meanwhile dear old dad... neither seems to resemble himself nor seems to really even be in there anymore... Sort of hoping there might be some bittersweet wholesome twist to this like with the mom. Like the dad's still in there, he's just not very talkative right now and Very Horny. Otherwise... eh, I'm not yucking anyone else's yum but the concept of identity death always gives me the heebie-jeebies.
