Mmmm.. couldnt he have stored the rank 3 spirit beast and demonic Beasts in his inner world to evaporate them into qi? Since they are illusions and not alive there is a bit of plausible deniability towards their hidden observers about being able to store living creatures

Yeah, he maxed it out at the end of book 6. It's less about getting the right fire seed, though. More about getting everyone' s strength back up so that they can survive the Light Tribulation.

I guess spirit beasts can't body cultivate. Like the Urgamal. Their are two different types of beasts. I wonder if they actually exist or if the illusion was a theoretical projection.
