It is kind of what he has been doing with the first class sect thing even though he is an old monster himself. It makes him basically immune from being randomly crushed. Without that, he'd have no chance of building a powerful clan without having to tie himself to some other power.

Fun chapter. I can't help but feel the rule bending on the other side is growing tiresome fast. "I can't interfere" tee hee "I already did" combo being back to back makes it egregious. I'm sure there is a logical answer (rule loophole/ED whatever it may be) but I hope we see Feng start to preemptively getting his own counters/shenanigans in place. As much as he's grown up from life one, Feng isn't the Uber lucky MC that can muddle his way through anything, he really needs to start playing by the same rules(as much as possible).

Thanks for the chapter! Foreknowledge in a battle is for sure the most powerful tool. Not having a single death is also pretty damn nice. I'm also a huge fan of Su Fang using his crazily powerful soul to massacre his opponents. Has there ever been a soul technique mentioned for gaging the soul power of another without outright accosting them? I know that soul damage is by far the thing to avoid most for Mr. Fang, so I'm surprised he hasn't come up with one or run across one when it seems soul attacks aren't the rarest technique around.
