Shit Shooters Episode 32: Dread

In the first hour we do a really quick rundown of some life stuff, a Recent News Lightning Round, Dorohedoro, Muppets Haunted Mansion, Kamen Rider Revice, and The Ghost and Molly McGee. In the second hour we have a long, fun, and fruitful conversation about Metroid Dread, Nintendo, and our personal relationships to the concept of "Hype" and how we feel like we need to manage it as we grow older.

The conversation about letting media go and not putting a lot on a work before it comes out really struck me as someone who has been thinking a lot about that my self lately. I think I've reached the point in my endwalker excitement where I'm still really excited for it and is by far the thing I'm looking forward to most this year but I'm not looking for it to truly blow me away or let my self become really disappointed if it doesn't hit the high highs that I've already felt for the game before. I also liked that Muppets Haunted Mansion thing. I'm a Muppets enjoyer but I'm one of those haunted mansion sickos (well maybe not as bad as some people out there) but its definitely my favorite disneyland thing by a wide margin. So for me it was mostly just neat to see that stuff shown off in such a fun way. Though Gonzo and Pepe are not high on my list of Muppets faves lol.
