Quick question! The trains can travel over water? Does that mean you will be able to place tracks over water?
I know, and it's completely secondary, as I suppose it would take considerable time and work to do but it would look really cool
it would be all visual..since we cant restrict what we can put in a wagon or not. :/
Unfortunatelly, modding a rail track is INSANE. The amount of sprites and codding needed to make it is equivalent to a whole new mod. I have no balls or intention to risk that much time. ITs weird...in factorio lots of things are ok or easy to mod..but rail tracks is a good exception. Making trains are very hard..one of the hardest tasks in modding for factorio IMO.
To add to what ShadowGlass said, thematic carriages for ores, liquids, gases would be pretty cool, animals and plants would be a great bonus
Yes, the more trains, the more better :) Will it also have high-tech looking tracks? Rail-tracks don't have any attributes in Factorio, but just for the looks. It'd also be cool to have some high-capacity fluid wagons, to match the tanks in PyIndustry.
