My Next Project Will Be My Biggest Failure

I like to think that Lucas Builds The Future isn't just a series about projects, but a series about the process of bringing something to life - including their ups, downs, twists and underexplored dramas that go on underneath.
Well one thing that doesn't ring true to life in my videos right now is that all of my projects end up being successful. Sure, there are some ups and downs, but ultimately we overcome the issues and make something worth praising at the end.
But to be perfectly honest, most of my projects fail. The majority of them never see the light of day and die somewhere along the line - so I've been thinking about doing a video on my biggest tech-project failure: a project where I tried to turn the whole internet into an interactive VR garden - more on that later.
So here is what I wanted to ask: what would you guys want me to focus on, as far as the failure is concerned? Technical issues? Concepts not working the way they should? The emotional journey behind it? Fundraising? Hiring? Or is everything game for you?

What you’ve done is staggering. And I think when you research entrepreneurship and innovation you’ll find failure is a must otherwise you don’t learn. SpaceX is a great example. I would approach it from the point of view of a YouTube viewer who looks up to you. Frame it so they can see themselves in your shoes and then follow up with your example how you persevered or pivoted to something new. Celebrating screw-ups is important. The most important thing is what you took away that allowed you to grow. Hope this helps.
I always like to hear a nice pivot story. If you've got any of those, that'd be neat.

I like it. I love a good story, and this sounds like the story behind you; behind many lessons you’ve learned etc etc. 😃

It's not even a question, Lucas: failure stories are more important than success stories. Success stories got us into this mess. My suggestion, without getting too dark, is the category of "life getting in the way". Sometimes you really fuck up and everybody hates you. Sometimes your sister gets cancer. Sometimes you wonder if anyone cares what you're doing and so you play games or watch MrBeast videos instead of working towards your goal.

I think seeing someone success inspire people to start their journey in the same industry but then facing the failures while watching the other having only success is rough. Showing the other side - the failures - would probably show a realistic vision of the industry and be helpful to many. I'd love to see concepts, ideas, projects half done that faced a wall and such and see why it failed... I like the idea! :)
