The AR House Starts This September - And You're All Invited!
🕑 Added 2021-08-26 07:40:31 +0000 UTCAs many of you guys know, I've always dreamed of creating an intimate, passionate community of VR/AR creators who co-live/co-work, innovate and build the future together. And thanks to your support, this dream is now a reality... and you're invited! :D
On September 5th, me and my partner Aidan Wolf are kickstarting the AR House in Los Angeles, California! A creator house dedicated exclusively to AR, it'll house 8 unique & diverse AR creators every month... but it'll also be a community space that you can be a part of every week!
We'll have more information on that soon, but basically right now we plan to have an "open house" every Saturday so the LA AR community can congregate, hang out, exchange ideas and just have a plain old time. So if you are from the LA area, please comment or send me a message so I can invite you to the first events!
So enjoy the first photos of the space and thank you again so much for your support! I couldn't have done it without the stability you guys provide me. We hope that this is the start of something big... and I'm glad you all get to be a part of it.
PS: Next video is still coming and almost complete. Just couldn't focus as much on it this month due to my trip to Uganda + me setting up the AR House, but I'm doing my best to finish it up before the first cohort starts.

Yes! We're trying to get photogrammetry scans of the entire house and create an entirely virtual version of it for events :D

Unfortunately Iβm stuck in the UK, but it all looks pretty cool! I wonder if it would be possible to allow people to visit in virtual reality? Just an thought. Idk how youβd go about doing that. Β―\_(γ)_/Β―
