Thanks!!! I used a client to download the video to Dropbox and then exported it to the Video+ app. Now there are no app crashing or freezing issues and the video plays in the background.

I love the show but releasing it this way makes it unwatchable on a phone. I can’t play it in the background because I can’t load it on the Vimeo app so it plays through the Patreon app which crashes and freezes multiple times through out the video.
