alot of their viewers watch them on youtube. its a mainstream platform, vimeo is not. and even if every single viewer starts using vimeo to watch dff, it will be much harder for people to find their shit on vimeo. also there is still some ad revenue coming for them, which is why they slice up flash fried into 10 minute videos for youtube

This is an amazing topic. A long lost friend of mine showed me 7 Samurai and The Hidden Fortress back in 2006 and I've loved Kurosawa and Mifune ever since. Their films are life changing.

I hate Vimeo. Is there anything you can use that supports 144p or 240p besides YouTube? I’m annoyed that most of the chefs table stuff is on Vimeo and it never loads for me.
