The Atheist Experience has actually been connected to an actual non-profit for quite some time now and they have the official papers for it. That's why they can "get away" with their "scam" when it comes to the Youtube tips thing. They don't pay their hosts and crew as they are volunteers (or most of them anyway). You on the other hand do pay yourselves as far as I know so that's a difference.
