From what I've been hearing in the news, there's actually a good chance he'll be indicted as soon as he leaves office in 2020. The statute of limitations will run out on campaign finance fraud if he's reelected. However, it turns out they can do a sealed indictment, which will basically reset the statute of limitations, so if he is (and fuck I hope this isn't the case) president until 2024, they can get him after his second term.
