For the dilemma at 57:46... Time is a function of speed only at relativistic speeds. Which means that in a stationary universe, time would work normally - in fact it works normally at any speed. To think of it in a more simple way, we know that speed = distance/time. That is very basic mathematics... However when stretched to their logical end we have relativity. What happens when an object reaches near the speed of light (where speed is the subject of the equation S = D/T)? It is simple. The denominator increases (time). The higher the value of time the less the speed, as you are increasing the value by which you are dividing. Now similarly, you can also increase decrease DISTANCE rather than increase time to achieve a lower speed. That is known as distance dilation and absolutely happens at relativistic speeds. I really hope this clears some things up
