So they say. But I have to wonder how widespread that problem really was/is. The private videos on YouTube didn't have massively more views than Patrons from what I've seen. It just seems like them pre-emptively taking action on the off chance it happens or to prevent the minority of people who do that. Though I don't have the data they have access to, maybe it really is a problem, I don't know.
