I think the India Pakistan conflict is one of the most significant issues today, it's right up there with climate change in terms of the devastation that would be projected. It bothers me that this issue doesn't get nearly enough coverage in the mainstream media. Both India and Pakistan could have 250 nukes each in about 5 years. Also note, China, a nation with around 290-300 nukes has Pakistan as a major ally, due to its significance within the grand Chinese belt and road economic plan, as it provides them access to Africa where China has a lot of investment. If a nuclear confrontation between India and Pakistan, what does China do? That would add to the destruction already outlined in the article. Remember, both countries have been at odds with each other since independence, they largely despise each other, the governments and the people at large, both are a very fundamentalist in their religions, and both could have large amounts of nuclear weapons in 5 years, a perfect shitstorm. As the article stated, we have been lucky there wasn't a nuclear conflict since 1945, and we came so close to WWIII in 1962. I rewatched your episode on the nukes and the fact that we have growing instability in this region of the world is extremely troubling, and I would really appreciate it if you covered this in your Abandon Hope episode to inform people of this dangerous situation because the media definitely won't. I know I have been rambling on a lot, but if you need more info, I chuck a bunch of videos by Kyle Kulinski on his perspective bellow. I really appreciate Paul, Scotty and TJ do on this show, and I look forward to watching this episode of Abandon Hope because I certainly have.
