This is a bit of an aside, but on the Prager U video dividing the cake when one person pays 6$ and one 4%, there are actually mathematical studies on 'fair divisions'. Fair meaning everyone goes home thinking they made the best deal and happy with it. Obviously this isnt exactly what we mean by fair, by some peoples standards the capitalist system we have is fair under similar conditions(ie society tells us that is the fair division of profits), but its one of my favorite parts of mathematics so I thought I would share it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7s-YM-kcKME The basic concept is, you come up with a number of prices(based on triangulation on a isometric paper) and each corner of each triangle is a rent. Each person will be offered 3 choices, the three vertices of the triangles, and each person will continue to pick choices until they come to one where each person says 'yes' to the same triangle. This is mathematically garenteed by spernas lemma (basically if you have the right length of dimension, you will always get one triangle or space where every side is different(ie every side has the best deal with it)

I watched DP for god knows how long, maybe 10 years or more? but I have to admit, the more 'high brow' take on this channel, of discussing issues and ideas and so on, it tickles me far more than DP. What I got from DP was interesting perspectives from people who dont pander to anyone, what I get from here is the same, only the perspectives are more frequent and on more interesting subjects. The drama shit im just not interested in anymore, I liked Ben on DP but the drama based show just doesnt appeal to me whatsoever anymore without TJ and the others perspectives.

I know you didn't do it to be nice, and that I probably shouldn't place too much importance on validation from people I'll probably never meet; but despite what my otherwise massive ego would probably lead people to believe I deal with a fair amount of self-loathing on a day-to-day basis and it really made my whole week.
