Hello from Utah! It definitely fucking sucks here. Last election cycle the majority of people voted for proposition 2, a bill to legalize medical marijuana, but the church opposed it and prop 2 was replaced by our legislature with a much stricter bill. The church claims to “rarely” get involved in politics, yet it has opposed the equal rights amendment, pushed against LGBT rights (conversion therapy is still legal here), fought against abortion , and generally pushed it’s members in a conservative direction (the majority of it’s members in the US are Republican). There’s no escaping the Mormon culture here, as religion is a huge factor in how the people here vote.

This is what I was going to bring up during the Paul-ology!

We would most definitely win in a war against China even if there was an alliance with China and Russia. China imports a large amount of its food, so all we would need to do is naval blockade the country and cordon off any Asian countries from exporting to them. Even if Russia picked up some of the slack by lending China food, it surely wouldn’t be able to pick up the slack of feeding the millions of people in the country. We would attrition them into submission.

Trump only pulled a small contingent of troops from syria. I believe it was 50-100 special forces troops were moved out of the region. So AOC isn't flipping on the stance of withdrawing, Trump isn't withdrawing in the first place. He is abandoning our allies and still keeping the same amount of soldiers in Syria.
