On the cox story: I live in Wichita Kansas and itβs one of the 2 providers you can choose from within the city. Thereβs a complete monopoly and I personally have had better service from At&T. But I agree with Paul over all. Iβd be more open to the idea if putting it in the hands of a government that worked for the people were the case in the US. But itβs just not the case.

I love TJ and Paul....but I find it so annoying when Scotty interrupts constantly and tries to goad TJ. Hey, maybe other fans love it, and Iβm the only one whoβs bothered. But it reminds me of little kids fighting, and itβs really off-putting.

Paul is right about fiber being a better solution. The copper cable is replaced all the time though. Ironically enough a fiber plant is cheaper the a cable plant, It just costs a lot of money at once, so they have us replace hard line piece by piece as it goes bad. Current cable plants are fiber to cable.
