What i was thinking was to try and buy a cheap car that needs some work ( has to be classic, sporty or interesting and rare ) then repair it to factory condition and sell it or trade it for something else and try and work the channel all the way up to buying something extremely exotic? Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche? you get the idea. What do you think? would it make for interesting viewing?

Hi I just supported----I think the majority of subscribers like restoring things in their grasp.... plus...an exotic resto takes a super super long time...trust me. did a simple (haha) Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio1989- but intricate and interesting idea...tons of time....and discoveries you wouldn't ever expect...Alfas rust if you sneeze near them ....bloody nightmare and nooks where water has sat for decades rusting things out....do a DeLorean ...no rust.
Hi, No no i dont think your being one bit negative , what you are saying is very true theres a very fine line between being able to make a profit and trade up and ending up out of pocket but there in lies the challenge ;) It will take some time and some serious planning to achieve but i think it could create an enjoyable series of videos wether it ends in glory or disaster haha.
It's an interesting idea. The only factor in my mind that says otherwise is the criteria of classic, sporty or interesting and rare...but cheap? At that end of the pricing spectrum you could end up with an uneconomical basket case that soaks up more time and money than it would pay you back when you come to sell it. It could work, but the biggest skill will be finding a vehicle that has a ready market come sale time. Please don't think I'm being negative. I enjoy watching you restore things no matter what it is, I'm just trying to be practical!
