Hello, I want to talk about Quibi, because I actually tried to pitch an idea to them. One of the biggest problems they have is their ideas of what they wanted a show to be. I think the idea of short form content can work really well, and be a great counter for current content. But you have to do “Lateral Thinking” and redefine what a short film is supposed to be. The show I was trying to pitch early on (which wasn’t great in hindsight but better than anything else on Quibi) was a revival of Liquid Television (something that I actually got an idea after messaging Paul on Highdeology in late 2017) with each episode being 30 second shorts that all have a theme that add up to a whole. Everything Visually heavy, everything diverse in regards of the Cinematic/Video Format. Quibi (for better or worse) needed content like the one I was pitching. It’s biggest flaw as a platform was that they were trying to pitch shorter versions of Netflix/Hulu Shows, which was a terrible solution in hindsight.

On a slightly extended clip, you could see that a National Guard *soldier*, like ACTUAL soldier, not just by choice of weapons, had the brains to check on someone unconscious on the ground. His/her training was clearly better than all of the cops'. Either that, or they had ACTUAL FUCKING HUMAN DECENCY unlike those fucking bootlickers. Just imagine being knocked out, bleeding, on the ground and there's hundreds of people already surrounding you and not a single one gets down to check on you. How fucking sick is that? Helluva time we're living in.
