All very good points that you've made and i agree with all of them. I think all of them would be worthy of a restoration so i think its just a case of what bike turns up for the right money, But as you say the 916 commands serious money these days and finding one that needs a bit of restoration work is just about impossible but you never know you luck haha. And yeah the 916 rims suck much prefer the 996 or 998 rims. I apologize for the late reply, ive been very busy working on the ATC :)

916 first generation first year is highly sought-after. But if you want better engine Electronics and comfort and durability it's 998 all the way
