I bought a set of those wheels from Tire Rack for my 1999 2.5RS (the US Non turbo version of the WRX) and paid $100 each for them. Everyone hated the gold wheels and were selling them cheap as winter wheels, but us Subaru enthusiasts recognized the history of the Subaru gold wheels.
Subarus are just meant to have gold wheels. I had some Bronze wheels on my silver 2002 WRX and they looked pretty good too. Wish I had pictures of that car.
