Well things just got a little more interesting
🕑 Added 2021-04-12 23:56:00 +0000 UTCSo i was chatting with a friend the other week about how im planning on buying a MK2 Escort to restore and do an engine conversion etc and it turns out that he has decided to buy one aswell. It is arriving in the next few days and he is super keen on having me do the work on it to get it ready to hit the road, Im obviously very keen to work on his car as it will be a good learning experience for when i find one for myself, The question is would you guys like to see some videos of me fixing his Escort or would you prefer i get on with the Ducati build and save the Escort videos for when its time to do mine... if i can find a good one at sensible money?

My suggestion is do both. By that I mean do you Ducati, and work on your mates Escort in the back ground. Being that it’s your friends car, you are normally reliant on him supplying parts etc. so it will take a longer period to film. (Also, although he is your friend make sure you get permission for filming and work in writing) Once you’ve got enough footage you can do filler episodes, that will help you build a slight back log of videos, so you’re always able to pump out videos at a consistent time table, should help keep and pump up your viewership and subscriptions. Just throwing it out there for you. Not that I’m an expert on any of this. And in the end the ball is in your court. Still would love for you to do a lathe restoration for like a myford super 7 or something.
Yeah i 100% agree with your comment, that when its not your own its just not the same.
Ducati would be awesome! Escort would also be amazing, but I'd prefer watching you restore your own, where it's completely your vision!
