I think the whole Red Wave thing is largely overexaggerated. Conservatives of all stripes found a place to express themselves and critique society. Some of those critiques resonated with people, but that doesn't mean their entire worldview and moral framework changed because of it. They considered a different perspective and used it to strengthen and deepen their own ideas. I mean without it, I wouldn't have been able to articulate criticisms of right wing claims well at all. Without it, I wouldn't be prepared for Intersectional Feminism to follow the same game plan as White Feminism after it achieves its initial goals. I can recognize the important progress it seeks to make, while also seeing the traps/pitfalls most people will fall into albeit with good intentions. I think it was important. It's to me, what the atheist community was to them.

Who's saying Vaush is moving TJ further left? If anything Vaush is moving him more center. TJ would never have thrown his weight behind someone like Biden. Now he's touting "harm reduction" and "lesser of two evils."
