Haven't Coke & Pepsi both been changing the recipes around this whole time? They both changed to high fructose corn syrup at some point. I'm sure both companies implemented new cost saving measures over the years. I used to drink a lot more soda in the 90's and I remember both of them tasting different.

Just an FYI: TJ claimed that the N64 was a pretty hot system but that couldn't be further from the truth. The N64 only moved 33 million units, which is horrible compared to it's direct competitors, who was new on the market. The playstation 1 sold over a 1 hundred million units. The Nintendo 64 was hot at release but even at the time complaints about framerates and the complete lack of games for the first two launch years sealed the systems doom. It was on the market from 1996 to 2002, versus the PS1 life span, which ran from 1994 until 2006. It isn't really until later that Nintendo 64 started to get popular due to platforms like YouTube and cult games like Ocarina of Time - but the reality is very few N64's were ever actually on the market. At this point, Nintendo was beginning a trend of releasing failing home console after home console. The N64 was commercial failure at 33 million units; the Gamecube did significantly worse at 24 million units. While the Wii sold a lot of units, the number of games it sold were relatively low; and the sheer amount of shovelware on the platform was one of the contributing factors to the colossal failure of the Wii U which only sold 13 million units. Home consoles haven't been Nintendo's strong suite since the SNES.

Idk, the Shadow the Hedgehog game on the Gamecube was kinda fun back in the day... Not really a traditional Sonic game but it was entertaining enough
