Don't know if it's down to rules and regulations but over here in Belgium Burger King is decent. By decent I mean the same as Mc Donalds but with an added smokeyness to it. Everything has a distinct beef flavour. This is true for BK & McDo. Then again it could be artificial flavouring, who knows.

BK is legitmately fucking awful. Order a whopper and watch what they do. If it’s anytime other than a ‘dinner rush’, which is debatable that they even get them anymore, they’ll fucking microwave it in the bag with all the lettuce and shit on the burger.

Burger King is called 'Hungry Jacks' here in Australia (for legal reasons; there was already a family-owned place called Burger King when BK came to Aus).. I hate the Burger King fries (the maccas fries are 30 times better), and I've had that soggy bun plus bone dry burger experience a couple of times before, made me want to throw up.

Food story time... I went to Burger King "because someone with me wanted to go" and I got the chicken sandwich. I did this because the dry tasteless burgers covered in watery cum juice is not my thing. The chicken was so WET that I picked it up and rang it out. Enough lukewarm smelly water came oozing out of it to fill the bottom of a solo cup up a cm or 2. It was supposed to be fried. To this day I will not go back. School lunch burgers are better than Burger King Slop.

I really have to say, your mention of cheap “.59” hamburgers brings back memories of 2012-2018 for me. Between those years I would always order “two .89 cent hamburgers” which would just be a normal Happy Kids Meal hamburger with the perfectly diced onions. I’d take the bottom bun off, fold it like a taco, and enjoy that shit. McDonalds tiny hamburgers have the best diced onions, I just wish they were still $0.89 like they were not too long ago.
