hi Paul, I can tell you aren't in my generation because you don't know anything about snapchat than what was in that article, so you couldn't see the misinformation. When I had snap chat in high school, there was a filter that showed how fast you were moving. snd it was shaped like a speedometer. I don't know if they have changed the filter or not to encourage speeding, but I doubt it. It was just another filter, like the making your head look distorted filter and knock off instagram filters. When I was in high school, there were no points to unlock anything, everyone had access to everything on the app except freelance pornography which to its credit was on snap chat if you were at least 18 years old available with proof of age for a probably a reasonable fee price from a college students expectations. Before that speedometer filter, my friends would snap pics of their actual speedometer while going ridiculously fast, which is probably more dangerous than using the filter while driving. But I agree speeding and trying to record it to show off to your friends regardless of how it is recorded is dangerous.

The having your brain be preserved shit is like something Caveman Johnson would come up with. All subjects would probably just be the usual rejects of society being rounded up, signing forms they don't read/understand, and all the while having some overtly optimistic voice over an intercom explain the ridiculous risks involved in the project.
