It's a terrible fucking monster. The whole point of the IT monster is that it\s a funny, approachable clown that kids would want to trust and greet and play with, only to be lured in and the inner monster revealed. The 90's version is exactly that. But the modern IT didn't even get that right. They created a clown that is always terrifying looking that no kid would ever consider approaching. Add the boogity boo shit when it is supposed to be scary and menacing and it's a complete and utter fail of a monster.

I don't like the changes they made to Thanos. The mad titan did not worry about the suffering of others. He was wise enough to perceive the fundamental forces of the universe. But he was mad enough to think if he killed enough people that he could fuck one of those forces. Thanos literally has a hard-on for death, but they wanted a sympathetic villain.
