There's a significant rift in online leftist groups, not just in ideologies but also policies and strategies. I don't see the Left succeeding until its divergent thought leaders come to some damn compromise on marching orders. Most people just won't think for themselves, do they willing follow what their thought leader thinks and does. That means no unified support, no shared power, and no success. The Liberals and Conservatives can form functional strategic alliances, but until the Left can thought its thought leaders, anything successful leftist will remain a hotly debated dream, which isn't even worth the mental energy to ponder.
