The guys had some pretty good takes on how the crimes went down. As far as the show now, I think the answer is not to return to form, but to continue to evolve. They've still 'got it', make no mistake, they're just getting older, times are changing, and we're living in the jaded post-Covid19 era.

I personally hated the classic episodes. I really like the new direction the show has changed. The fact the old stuff was so scripted with really detracted from the awesome chemistry of the guys bouncing off one another in more free form discussions. Especially since if the topic/theme was uninteresting the whole episode was just doomed to suck for certain people.

I'd rather face that day again than the Matt Walsh gauntlet. I don't think I can stress enough how excruciatingly agonizing this is going to be.

I know a guy from Poland, who worked in the UK for some time. One day he spilled beer on his shirt, so he bought a clean one from a thrift shop, a nice reddish shirt with "Arsenal" logo and shit. Little did he know that this shirt would almost cost him his teeth. Turned out that some manchester fans or whatever pulled him aside and gave him a few punches...luckily, for a lack of better term, one of them was sober enough to see that the man had no affiliation nor idea what the hell was this all about. If I had to guess, you'll probably decide you're just annoyed with him and ignore him eventually. When I first discovered him I went through a weird love-hate relationship and eventually decided he just wasn't for me. I find the same things you brought up there problematic as well as just generally finding his chat super sycophantic and almost cult-like. I remember being particularly annoyed at a clip I saw of him where he talks about the CyberTruck and literally made multiple errors and incorrect claims about how it functioned in a crash scenario and stated them like they were fact. (As someone with 3 and a half years into my Mech. Engineering degree that kinda bothered the shit outta me). Not to mention when he flip-flops on political strategies and acts like "That's what I was saying all along".
