You can't nuke a hurricane because 1) The totall energy released by a fully developed hurricane is upwards of 10 x 10^13 watts, one 10 megaton nuke per half hour, so it may seem like it would disrupt it but it would not, and 2) hurricanes form as weather systems because of powerful changes in barometric pressure, as powerful as a nuke is it doesn't move around enough air in the entire atmosphere to change that (and if it did it likely wouldn't stabilize it and the resulsts would be even worse).
