What if you can corrupt the FCA. Ultimate power to those we were trying to keep in check. Too much corruption in current government to create a group with so much authority. Defeat bad speech with more good speech. 100% open communication with the only limit being direct threats of violence. The more we attempt to silence the dumbs the more they'll dig their heels in. This will further polarize things, further isolating them and probably making them more extreme.

IMO, no government agency could deal with the volume of information they'd need to vet. You'd end up vetting Marjorie Talor Greene, and not your crazy uncle, Cletus. Then you'd have a two-tiered system

I don't trust that a group of scientist wouldn't color their decisions based on their own private politics. It seems as though humans are nearly incapable of not doing so.

Very good video! I agree 100% with having a scientists in charge of science based things in our society. They are not red or blue just talking about factual stuff that saves lives. Kyle lost me a while back but it was not really because I was swept up in wanting to feel radical. Instead it was because Kyle was a dude that pulled me left years ago that is now trying to pull me right. I have had major issues with him all year and finally just said "ok this is like listening to AOC" and walked away. I don't hate him but I am no longer in his circle.

So I left a comment I don’t see it anywhere so it may have gotten taken down I don’t know. But after I watched the video again I realized the point i maid was addressed so sorry about that.

In theory, couldn't we pass a law mandating that members of the FCA are solely funded by taxpayers and don't receive any funding from corporations while serving in that position (i.e., we could regulate the positions to make sure that they stay independent and avoid conflicts of interest)? Still, it could be difficult to enforce, but it's an idea.
