No offense to anyone but I think its strange to be a horse lover and not know how horrible and abusive horse racing is. I don't really like PETA either but some of their content is good at bringing to light how some industries just torture animals every day. I think the video on the wool industry disturbed me the most since sheep are one of my favorite animals but the horse leg clip made me cringe so hard and the knee injury I have started to hurt a bit :( thanks for a great episode and I hope it changes some peoples minds if they support this "sport"

Very poignant episode. I cried a little when you showed the clip of that horse's legs breaking and it still ran on them with the foot just flopping around...horrible horrible imagery. A friend of mine has a father who is obsessed with horse racing and he has childhood memories of going to the track with him. I always thought it was an abusive "sport" but now I think it is downright disgusting. Cant wait to show him this and make him feel bad for having a piece of shit father who blew all of his money on animal abuse. Good job, Scotty. This really made me feel something and I have a new hatred of horse racing and people who perpetuate its continuance.

Yeah I never liked horse racing to begin with because I knew they’d put horses down for injuries whether they could heal up or not, so this just reaffirms that hate for such a ‘sport’. I’d call it an exploitation instead.

when I was like 12 in Ireland I bet on Greyhound racing for a school event (Irish don't giver a fuck about gambling regulations). A stuffed rabbit with the scent of a real rabbit was attached to a cable and dragged the stuffed rabbit around the track to get the dogs to chase it. The cable was pulled way faster than the greyhounds could run.
