This episode is hard to watch but good. I live in LA and work around the city and have to see the Scientology bullshit everywhere. They used to set up by a shopping center downtown that my partner and I go to all the time and would always harass us for one of those stupid stress tests. I learned a lot about Scientology in your guys’ L Ron episode, and at that time got out of a potential relationship with a guy who grew up in Scientology and said it tore his family apart and traumatized him. Such a good guy too. Fuck L Ron and his crazy ass followers

What's funny is these people picket and harass people with ease but you stand on a sidewalk outside of one of their events or properties and they get paranoid and psycho and surround you like a bunch of bees. Classic example of a bunch of geeks and insecure sociopaths that get some power and they get out of control with it.

I have an experience with Scientology. When I was in high school, I had to do an assignment for photography class where I had to go into NYC with my celluloid camera and do street photography. My mom and I walked by (on the other side of the street) some Scientologist doing an outdoor Thetin test. There was a lady near by dressed in street clothes on her cell phone. When I took a photo the lady put her hand in front of my camera, ruining the photo. My mom, furious, took her cell phone and hung it up and the lady walked across the street, away from us. At the time I thought it was just some New York City bitch, but in retrospect, I realize that she was a Scientologist. It's crazy just how paranoid they are and the depths they will go to "protecting" their "church". I mean if someone thinks an obvious high school kid taking pictures is a threat, then they are beyond delusional.
