Narcotic's Anonymous is not a scientologist related thing... I'm a drug addict who has been to a ton of meetings (obviously hasn't worked lele). It's just a little less backwards version of Alcoholic's Anonymous, a new newer books and shit. It doesn't teach that L Ron is god or anything like that... That's ridiculous, bad research.

The episode on Hubbard was one of my favorites, I'm hyped for this. Scientology is so nuts to the point of amusement. But at the same time I feel that a lot of current religions are similarly incoherent and exploitative, I just feel like they've had more time to adapt? I dunno man I feel further and further away from understanding other people when I sit and think about it for a minute. We really are just zappy cognitive pudding. Kind of makes sense how disfunctional we are as a species. Also makes me wonder what sort of goofy stuff I may be blind to or complicit in. I wish other people would indulge in that sort of introspection more.
