One thing of note with Pokémon cards: they’ve had a MASSIVE market consistently for 20+ years. The cards worth money now were worth money years ago, like those charizards Scotty mentioned (usually a couple hundred bucks a piece). The price will undoubtably fall out, but not like beanie babies. There’s a thriving collector’s market for Pokémon cards and there will be for years to come.

That would make a great episode, considering that the film is also very good.

Since you guys brought him up, you guys now should make an episode on the most dangerous Hollywood blockbuster of all time - James Cameron's The Abyss. People almost died on that set and to this day both Ed Harris and Mary Elizabeth Mastriantonio refuse to speak about their experience on set, having been that traumatized by the experience.

Doug Liman who directed The Bourne Identity is a hack. He's a more pretentious Brett Ratner responsible for some of the most bland and forgettable movies imaginable - remember Jumper with Hayden Christiensen - that was him! So were Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Fair Game, and the John Cena vehicle The Wall. Now he's basically a whipping boy for Tom Cruise (having directed Edge of Tomorrow and American Made), but last year took a break from that to make the duds Chaos Walking (in which Daisy Ridley crash lands on a planet where women are extinct and the men's thoughts are heard by everyone) and Locked Down (an Anne Hathaway vehicle made during COVID that is a generic bank heist film that apparently sucks even considering the limitations of the pandemic). He's just awful!

I grew up with all of the alien movies I liked them all the way up to resurrection. I may just have shit taste though I do like Prometheus.
