I gotta say, as someone who has watched virtually everything DFF related and put off watching Dank D+D because it “wasn’t for me” until recently, I have enjoyed it waaaay more than I ever thought I would. After the first few episodes, everyone really gets into character, even Stevie; and Paul’s storytelling with the Gimlek stuff has been really funny. I guess I post this comment to say that if you’re like how I was, and haven’t given Dank D+D a shot yet: you’re missing out!

I feel like the biggest improvement that could happen with future seasons is figuring out a way to make the battles more engaging. I get battles are necessary, but the pacing grinds to a halt for an hour and there isn't nearly as much entertaining banter as in exploration segments.
