I agree with TJ in that the primary problem the left has is wording. We word our plans in the worst possible way. "Defund the police" makes it sound like we want to cut funding to all law enforcement which is what scares conservitards. "Reform the police" or "Repurpose the police" would lead someone to say "Define reform" or "Define repurpose" rather than immediate backlash

A lot of Americans are so scared of universal healthcare that they now pretend you're a communist/socialist for wanting policies that MOST NATO COUNTRIES HAVE. We can't even get capitalism lite without everyone crying.
