My life is a roadtrip, nothing is more depressing than those blown out gas station towns in New Mexico. Some of the abandoned shit there is so consistently dilapidated it makes the crappier parts of nola look reasonable. "Truth or Consequences" was especially weird, that fucking place gave me human trafficking vibes, plenty of businesses but no fucking people anywhere.
