By the way, if I am having trouble hearing or understanding the suspect I have found that using headphones or ear buds is a good solution. I had feared It was just me but 41 isn’t really that old, right?

What an idiot. Exactly the kind of person too irresponsible to own a firearm. Though I do think he looks like a tortured man. Seems like he is trying to hold it together to corporate with the police but all he wants is to be alone and grieve. Or maybe he is numb. From what I see he doesn’t feel the need to prove his grief to the police or to the camera. He will be living with it for the rest of his life. Also, we don’t know how much time has elapsed between the shooting and this interview. He could have been hysterical for hours and is now in a different state of grieving. Possibly, he could have been so hysterical he was given medication at the hospital. Lots of little details we don’t know but I feel pretty confident in my belief that he meant it when he said his life is over. He is not a bright man who made a series of terrible choices that left his daughter dead. I don’t think he will ever forget it.
