Come on dude you know Micheal has some sort of sixth sense with the way he's always able to keep track of his victims I feel he was done dirty in the cabin because while not being as fast as werewolf he is smarter and probably better suited to kill in close quarters especially with a kitchen table and a still alive Paul's mom.
