Tj is right about Lucas. Look at the original trilogy. He had other people direct and write two out of the three. He’s a great idea guy, but he needed someone to execute the vision competently. Look at the original trilogy. Look at Indiana Jones. Look at the Clone Wars series. All good, all had other people to filter his ideas. The prequels would have worked if he would’ve had someone to execute properly. There are a lot of great ideas in those three movies. He just doesn’t know how to put it to screen correctly

And what agreements or treaties have the US or NATO broken with Russia? Are you referring to an oral agreement that is only speculated by Russians to have occurred in the post soviet collapse chaos? You do know that in order for NATO to "encroach" on Russia, it requires not only every NATO state to agree and the state being admitted to meet a set of requirements, but also that state to desire joining NATO, right? I don't know when Ukraine was possibly joining any time soon since they weren't joining pre2014 and they can't join until they regain sovereignty over their land, neither did the imaginary possibility of ukraine joining nato put russia in a "now or never" situation, unless you believe ukraine should just be a puppet state of russia, which fuck you in that case. So the US and NATO should just be able to endlessly break agreements and further encroach on Russia, right up to their boarder, with no negotiation? Russia won't invade a NATO country, so the prospect of Ukraine joining put them in a now or never situation. And now they've already invested so much into the invasion that they might as well take more than they intended. At the end of the day, neither NATO or Eastern powers will escalate after Ukraine has been completely devastated because it would be a doomsday scenario. So it begs the question why so many people had to die if the result is the same.

Holy shit, I never thought I'd hear a more delusional take on how the Russian invasion of Ukraine ends than what Paul said at 1:30:00. Just a completely untenable set of concessions that neither side, neither Putin nor the citizens of Ukraine even if Zelensky agreed to it, would ever agree to and would set Ukraine down a path of far right radicalization (especially since Zelensky is jewish), confirm that any peace treaty with any nuclear power is null and void if there's anything they want from you, set ukraine up for future invasion since russia has already done it twice, and encourage nuclear proliferation worldwide since the whole reason why Ukraine disarmed themselves of nukes was so that Russia respected their sovereignty. Paul's solution in the end would cause more war, benefit the war industry even more, and put the world at greater risk of nuclear war.

Snowcrash falls off hard in the end Paul, just a warning. Hardwired is the only other book I’ve read through in the cyberpunk genre. I recommend that one over Snowcrash. Not trying to prevent you from reading it just hope you aren’t as disappointed in it as I was.

Not the greatest gauntlet, as it's just you guys blabbering on and on and not even watching the cringe. I think the best formula for a proper gauntlet is when you either set aside time to watch the content without pausing so frequently, or there's a little bit of humor to be found. Otherwise it's just three angry men airing their frustrations for 6hrs and watching 15min of actual video.
