So sorry about the family issues regarding religion, Paul. I can empathise. I’ve pretty much lost my relationship with my dad the last ten years due to the same thing—he married an insanely religious woman who has all but placed a massive wedge between us because I won’t church up. Before she came around, my dad was an unassuming Christian, and we were close, as I lived with him after my mom left. But now he has become a conspiracy-laden, evangelical nut like her, and she labelled me a “god hater” because I (politely) asked her to stop proselytising me when I went to see my dad.
